| (The next morning, AJ’s room) Taylor: (wakes up) Oh god. Light evil, light evil. (Looks around) Oh shit, this isn’t my room. (Notices that she is naked and that she has an arm around her waist) Damn it not again. That’s it, I’m giving up drinking. (She tries to get out of bed when the guy wakes up) AJ: Man, my head hurts. Sorry about our fight Amanda. Taylor: Excuse me? AJ: (opens his eyes) You’re not Amanda. Taylor: You think?!? AJ: Oh god. Taylor: Close your eyes. AJ: What? Why? Taylor: Cause I’m going to get dressed and hightail it out of here…and I don’t want you seeing me. AJ: But um, I’ve kind of seen you naked. Taylor: Don’t remind me…CLOSE YOUR EYES. AJ: Alright, alright. (Closes his eyes, hears Taylor stumbling around, and then hears a door slam) Um, Taylor? (Opens his eyes) Shit. I’ve got to stop drinking. (Taylor runs into her house and starts to cry) Reagan: (coming down the stairs) You ok Tay? Taylor: No. Reagan: So it happened again huh? Taylor: Damnit! Reagan: I’ll take that as a yes. Taylor: I can’t believe I did that. Reagan: Well, it is AJ. Taylor: And I don’t remember a thing. Reagan: Not even if you guys used protection? Taylor: (starts to cry) This can’t be happening again Ray, it just can’t. (With that she runs upstairs and locks herself in her room) (At the same time, Nick is banging on AJ’s door) AJ: Hold on a second. (Banging continue) What? What? What? What? WHAT?! (He opens the door) Nick: Bout time. (Pushes his way in) AJ: Nice to see you too man. (Closes the door) Nick: How could you AJ? AJ: (confused) What? Nick: Don’t what me, how could you do it? AJ: Listen man, I don’t know what… Nick: How could you sleep with Taylor? How? AJ: Oh, that. Nick man listen, I was wasted, I don’t even remember… Nick: Save it AJ. That’s not what I meant. I meant how could you do it knowing how I felt about her? I came to you and told you that I liked her and that I wanted to date her and yet you went after her anyway. AJ: Shit Nick, do you actually think I would do this to you on purpose? This was a mistake that’s all it was. Nick: You are such an ass! (Punches AJ in the stomach and storms out) (He walks out of the house to his car and knocks into Reagan. She falls to the floor) Nick: (looking down, he sees Reagan on the ground, and helps her up…sighs) I’m sorry. Reagan: Hey it’s ok. You were in a rush…I shouldn’t have gotten in your way. Nick: You ok? Reagan: Yeah I’m fine. (Nick goes to get into his car) Reagan: You ok? You seem upset? Nick: It’s nothing. Reagan: Ok. (Puts her headphones on and starts to jog again) Nick: Wait Ray… Reagan: (stops and looks at Nick) Yeah. Nick: Did you know about what happened with AJ and Taylor last night? Reagan: (taking her headphones off) Yeah…what about it? Nick: Does she like him? Reagan: I don’t know. Why? Nick: No reason…I just can’t believe AJ did that. I mean they barely know each other. Reagan: Yeah well…they both weren’t in their right minds last night. (Puts her headphones on and turns to leave) Nick: Does she regret it? Reagan: (turns back towards him) What’s with the questions? Nick: What I want to know what she was thinking that’s all…I figured you would be the one who knows her best. Reagan: (starts to jog) If you want to know so much about her…why don’t you ask her yourself…I’m not into that whole tell her I said this shit. Nick: What’s with the attitude Ray? Reagan: (stops jogging) No attitude…if you like her…why don’t you ask her stuff yourself without going through a middle man. (Jogs off) |
