Chapter 11

(The girls all laugh at Kayla. Kayla looks rejected then starts laughing along with the rest of them.)
(The guys look over at the girls.)
Nick: Uh oh. That can’t be good.
Kevin: You think they are talking about us?
AJ: Only one way to find out.
Brian: What’s that?
Howie: Go over?
AJ: Yup yup.
(The guys make their way over to where the girls are sitting.)
(Brian sits down next to Alexa, Nick sits next to Elena, AJ sits next to Liz, and Howie sits by Sandra)
Kevin: What’s so funny? (As he sits next to Kayla)
Kayla: They’re making fun of me. (Kayla uses Kevin as a pillow)
Kevin: Oh is that all.
Kayla: HEY! (smacks Kevin on the arm)
Kevin: Owww…sorry.
Kayla: Yeah that’s right.
Alexa: Guys I want to introduce you to our two new friends. This is Sandra and this is Liz. They are sisters.
Liz: Hi.
Sandra: Hello.
Alexa: Sandra and Liz, this is Nick, Howie, AJ, Kevin, and Idiot…I mean Brian.
Brian: That’s it.
Kayla: Ooooo No lovin for Alexa tonight.
Alexa: I was only jokin. You know…minnie ha ha?
Kayla: Don’t be stealing my sayings!
Alexa: Sorry.
Kayla: Yeah yeah that’s what I thought.
Liz: (whispering to AJ) Are they always like that?
AJ: Worse.
Liz: Oh.
Kevin: Kayla is the one who comes up with all the zingers.
Kayla: mmm hmmm that’s right.
Nick and Elena: (Together) Sexual tension is filling the room.
Howie: Let me explain. Kevin and Kayla are dating, Alexa and Brian are dating, and Elena and Nick are dating.
Sandra: That explains so much. What about you and AJ?
AJ: We are what you would call a bachelor.
Sandra: Oh really?
Howie: (blushing) Really.
Kevin: Ummm guys, shouldn’t we get back to work now. It’s getting late.
Brian: Party pooper. I guess you’re right. Let’s go guys. Back to work.
Liz: It’s time for group shots.
