Setting: Reception Hall
(It’s the day before the wedding and there is a rehearsal dinner going on. Everyone is there…well everyone who is part of the wedding party. AJ and Liz’s parents are also there.)
AJ: One more night of freedom and then…I get the ol’ ball and chain.
Liz: (comes up behind him and hits him) I heard that!
AJ: I’m only joking. (Turns around and grabs her by the waist) I can’t wait til tomorrow where you will be my wife.
Liz: Awwww. (kisses him)
Kayla: Hey hey now…save some of that for tomorrow.
AJ: You always ruin our fun.
Kayla: (salutes) That’s what I’m here for.
Brian: Don’t worry AJ, tonight is the bachelor party.
Howie: Yeah that’ll be fun.
Liz: I don’t know about that.
Kevin: Don’t worry Liz, he won’t go too crazy.
AJ: Besides aren’t you having a bachelorette party?
Liz: Yeah…so what’s your point?
Brian: I overheard Alexa talking about a stripper being there.
Liz: Maybe.
AJ: And you think I’m gonna be bad…what about you?
Liz: The stripper isn’t for me…it’s for…for…Kayla yeah that’s it.
Kayla: ALL RIGHT! (Starts to do a dance)
Kevin: (looking at Kayla) Excuse me?
Kayla: Oh ummmm…I have to pee. (Kayla runs away)
Sandra: Don’t worry AJ, I’ll make sure she’s good.
Howie: And I’ll make sure AJ is good.
Brian: See no worries.
(In comes in a strange girl who looks around and then walks up Nick)
Trish: Nick I thought you said you were going to be done at 7?
Nick: We’re almost done.
(Everyone just stares at the two of them)
Nick: (looks over at them) What?
Brian: Ummm…who’s that?
Nick: This is Trish. We have a date tonight. Liz…AJ are we done here?
AJ: (shocked) Ummm…yeah. You can go man. See you later?
Nick: Yeah. (Nick puts his arm around Trish and they leave)
(They all look at Elena who is still sitting at the main table)
Elena: (looks up and sees them all looking at her) What?
AJ: Lane…what’s going on?
Elena: (looks around) Huh? Oh you mean Nick and me. Oh we broke up.
Kayla: (comes running out of the bathroom) WHAT?! After everything we’ve been through! You didn’t tell me?!
Kevin: What have you been through?
Kayla: Ummm…we…ummmm…we cleaned out my closet while you were gone…you know how much shit is in there.
Kevin: Oh…ok.
Alexa: (walks over to Elena) You guys broke up?
Elena: Yeah.
Liz: Why?
Elena: I…(looks at watch) Hey look at the time. I better get going. I have to get things ready for tonight. (Gets up) I’ll see you guys later. (Runs out the door)
Kayla: They broke up?
Brian: I guess so.
