| Friday June 13,2003, (Demonstration) - Vancouver Supreme Court Greetings from the west coast and Vancouver BC Supreme Court. Today We Made An Impact. Bravo Everyone, We Rocked. Thank you to everyone who was able to take the time out today to remind Vancouver that Father's Day is at hand. this includes: David Millar, Allan Mcdougal, Saint Dr. Jerry Wong, Lorne, Brad Springer, Steven, Lawrence Postie, and more. We got lots of signatures on the petition, handed out many brouchures, spoke to people all day, had people pulling over in their cars to talk to us, had car horns blaring all day, and each and everyone of us kept busy with the continous flow of passer bys that stopped to question us. many people figured there was some high profile case going on inside the temple of doom to warrant our presence. Also everyone I spoke to was familiar in some way with the Parents Coalition of BC. I had a woman pull over to the side of the road to talk to me regarding our issues, requesting information to contribute to this cause. This was the general consensus of most I encountered today. We had a gentleman in uniform with gun seeking our assistance. we had people asking if we were out here monthly and asking to join us in our quest. We were received like rain upon a dessert. From what I saw and experienced today I would say that a once a month gig at the Vancouver Supreme Court would be a benifit to the growth and image of our organizations in a very powerful way. People are waking up to the crimes commited against our children by those trusted with its protection. There is much reason to be proud of all our achievments, the fruits of our labour are begining to show in a big way. I am overwhelmed. BRAVO VANCOUVER BC. Definitely the place to be on a week day. Unfortunately our local media were unable to attend. This is one time I have to say that's fine as I was just too damn busy dealing with more important matters," The needs of the people". It has been a very bust week for me and I thak everyone for their commitment, efforts and support "For the Sake Of The Kids". God Bless: Robert Robinson As a reminder as I have posted in many of our local media, the PCBC will be hosting a fund raising event in Pitt Meadows BC, Saturday, June 14, 2003, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM out front of the Meadowvale Mall on the corner of Harris Road and Lougheed Highway. For those looking to skip out of the PCBC meeting you are welcome to join Murray Williams, Paul Juoksu, and myself. Local media has already been contacted so wear colors. see you there. |
| Saturday, June 14, 2003, (Fund raiser) - Pitt Meadows BC Greetings everyone from the west coast and Pitt Meadows BC where today Murray Williams, Paul Juoksu and myself hosted a PCBC fund raiser at the Meadowvale Mal from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM out front under the canopy of the local IGA. We used Pauls awesome display which included: Nerf basket ball, nerf football, unwraped christmas presents over 5 years old, many family friendly signs, old wooden cars, hockey game, bill board with many PCBC news clippings, flowers, balloons, PCBC phamplets, petition, and so many more cool toys. we were well received, raised much public awareness and raised a little bit of money too . One elderly women who donated informed me after living in Pitt Meadows 17 years she was very familiar with the PCBC and wished us all the best. Another fine merchant owner offered to distribute our brouchures on a regular basis from his health shop and even offered his magician services to be raffled off if ever we need. It was a successful visit and another feather in our hats Well done everyone and thanks for all the support. |
