Adric held his arms out. "Surprise, Doctor! You left me to die, so now I have come to haunt you from beyond the grave!"

The Doctor paled visibly at Adric's announcement. "What! But... I didn't mean... I couldn't possibly have... I had no choice!"

Adric's form shimmered and was replaced with the familiar shape of Kamelion. "April Fool, Doctor!" it said in its bland robotic voice.

The Doctor breathed a sigh of relief and paused to make sure that his hearts were still working. "Kamelion! Don't do that!"
