Tiffeny Milbrett of New York
Milbrett was named the WUSA's player of the week for the second straight week as she posted the season's first 3 goal game by a player in the league. The gaols came against Boston on June 22. She is currently leading the WUSA with 10 goals and 22 points, and has scored

Week Ten Player Of The Week

Tiffeny Milbrett of New York
Milbrett recorded her second two-goal game of the season in a match that saw her New York Power defeat Philadelphia. Her first goal came in the 15th minuet when she struct a 25 yard shot off of a free kick. The second came in the 25th minuet when she redirected a shot from Jen Lalor.

Week Nine Player Of The Week

LaKeysia Beene of Bay Area
Beene became the first keeper in the WUSA to stop a penalty kick, while at the same time she made nine saves in a shutout.

Week Eight Player Of The Week

Liu Ailing of Philadelphia
Liu Ailing became the first player in the WUSA history to be named back-to-back player of the week. The charge had two games, on Thursday they beat Washington 2-0 where she assisted on the first goal and then scored the other. On Sundayher team faced Washington again comming up short in a 2-1 loss, but she contiuned her hot streak, scoring the teams only goal.

Week Seven Player Of The Week

Liu Ailing of Philadelphia
Ailing scored two goals and added an assist for a total of five points when the Charge went 1-1-0 in week seven.

Week Six Player Of The Week

Dagny Mellgren of Boston
Mellgren assisted in Boston's first goal of their game in San Jose, and then scored the teams last goal of the game to help here team to a 4-2 vicotry.

Week Five Player Of The Week

Tisha Venturini of Bay Area
After just comming off of the 7 day disabled list, and having not seen action since the since the Inaugural Game in Washington, DC on April 14th, she started the game and played 79 minutes. To top that off she brought down a pass fro Sissi and found the back of the opponets net for the game winning goal. Not to bad for a player that was listed as probable.

Week Four Player Of The Week

Shannon MacMillan of San Diego
MacMillan scored once in each half to record the WUSA's first multi goal game by a player. In addition to her two goals she had five shots on net.

Week Three Player of The Week

MIA HAMM of Washington

Washington was trailing when Mia assisted on the game tying goal, and then in injury time she put the ball in the back of the net from a free kick. This despite haveing to leave eariler in the game to tend to an injury.
