I love Irish Dancing. I started dancing when I was 20 years old (September 2002) and often had to miss half the dancing year because of school (evening classes). I even got to be in the most advance class of my school one session because I couldn’t go on my regular night. Every year, my school (Marie-Claude Rousseau School of Irish Dancing, also known as Rousseau Québec) puts on a show known as The Recital and then performs in the St-Patrick’s Parade in Montreal. I often compete too. For all these events, one needs a costume (Now THAT is sad *snif*, it means more sewing of pretty dresses for me! :P) Here I present the evolution of my Irish Dancing costumes. |
