December 29, 2004 Got Everquest 2 We both received EQ2 for Christmas from her oldest son. He also got himself one. We all are into Massive Multi-player Online Role-Playing Games. I Love the graphics, quests, fighting, trade skills, and depth of it so far. The character models are ok, though I like EQ1's better. For example, can't pick long straight hair in this one =( Coming out to Mom2 I Talked to mom on the phone for the first time since I e-mailed her about my feelings of femininity and being a girl. I mainly tried to calm things down by talking about mostly other things. I did make sure to mention the important thing, to let her know I am serious, and it isn't a game, nor just for attention. She seemed surprisingly calm. Work Work has been very hectic. We are in the middle of switching over the whole store to the next setting. With christmas over, all the old stuff is replaced with Valentine's Day stuff ( and mixed with a lot of new year stuff: new almanacs, travel guides, diet books, and self-help stuff). Also all the wedding stuff comes out (I guess V-day related). Jo: Jo asked why I seemed upset. I was distant when I got home and mentioned me having to work and do house work while she was taking off of work and playing games with her son. I was a bit upset doing the cleaning, seeing the dishes pile up, while she had a 3 day weekend and 2 weekdays off (with some short days). I had to work fri, sun, mon, and tues, and did housework Christmas and over the weekend. I just did them since I have got doing housework habitually now. I haven't ever mentioned my being transgender to work, though I mention to coworkers quick comments about such things as wearing girl's clothing, girl styles, and acting like one. Brian calls me mysterious. Boy is he right, lol. |
