Welcome to the Wild Pigs Motorcycle Club Memphis, Tennessee Chapter website. We are proud to belong to one of the best and well known law enforcement motorcycle clubs in the World.

The Memphis Chapter of the Wild Pigs Motorcycle Club consists of Law Enforcement Officers that ride Harley Davidson brand motorcycles or other American made Harley clones as approved by the parent chapter of the Wild Pigs Motorcycle Club located in San Jose, California.  The Wild Pigs Motorcycle Club was formed in 1987 by a group of San Jose police officers who have made brotherhood, loyalty, and committment the foundation for keeping our club strong for 20 years.

The Memphis Chapter of the Wild Pigs Motorcycle Club is family oriented and friends of the club are usually seen riding with us.  We sponsor Christmas For The Kids every December and for the last 4 years have purchased Christmas gifts for the children of the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home located in Bartlett, Tennessee.  We annually hold a poker run with the proceeds going to a law enforcement officer or his family who are in financial need.

This site is continually being updated, so check back often.  And don't forget to check out our event pictures and other information regarding the club.
We sincerely hope that everyone who attended our 11th Annual Poker Run to benefit the family of Sgt Reed Johnson of the Millington Police Department had as good a time at the event as we did in hosting it.  We were were able to raise over $9000 for the family of Sgt. Johnson.  For those who don't know, Sgt. Johnson was in is 40's and taking care of his wife, an autistic sister, and his father who is a retired Memphis PD officer and in bad health.  When the family moved out of the house after Sgt. Johnson's death they moved to Bartlett, Tn where two weeks later the house burned down.
We advertised a party at Dan McNamara's house for the ending stop but, as the Memphis area riders know,  the weather was extremely stormy with a huge rainfall total for the 4 weeks  preceeding the event which caused us to scramble to locate a "dry" location for the party since Dan's house was a "mud park".  At the last minute we moved to the parking lot of the Regions Bank National Headquarters and, with the tremendous support of Regions Bank and one of our own, Russell Coltharp, the party went on as scheduled and was a great success.  We hope to have another successful Poker Run Sunday next year.  The date for this years poker run is Sunday April 5, 2009.  It will begin at Robilio's Sidecar Cafe and end with a party at Dan McNamara's house located at 8644 Old Brownsville Rd. after a ride of approximately 65 miles through some of the backroads of Shelby County and Fayette County.  Of course we will stop at Hooters Wolfchase along the way.  Click on the Poker Run box below for a flyer.

See you there............................

This year we will once again be sponsoring the Tennessee Baptist Childrens Home for Christmas.  For our annual Christmas benefit the Memphis Chapter of the Wild Pigs MC has, for the past 5 years, adopted the Tennessee Baptist Children's Home, an orphanage located at 6896 Summer Ave. (U.S. 70) in Bartlett, Tn.  The TBCH is solely supported by donations from private individuals and organizations and accepts no mony from any governmental agency.  The children at the home usually number between twenty-five and thirty residents, range in age from newly born infants to 17 years of age, and are of all sexes and races.

We obtain a list of names and childrens' needs and wants from the staff at the TBCH each year and the chapter members and their wives or significant others shop for the children.  We then gather at Tommy's house for a "wrapping party" and socialize for what could be called our Wild Pigs Christmas Party.  After the presents are all wrapped they are place into individual bags until we present them to the children.  This year we went to the TBCH on Sunday, December 16, 2007 and prepared the assembly room with Christmas decorations as well as set up a table with ice cream punch, cake, etc.  The children then entered and opened their presents.

On Tuesday December 18th we went to the TBCH Boys Ranch, which is located in Tipton County, Tn. and furnished pizza & drinks for the children at the farm.  We gave each child a stocking with "goodies" and hung out with them for the afternoon.  This something that we haven't been able to accomplish in the past but we were financially able this year and all had a great time.  There are pics included (thanks to Alan) for this part of the event.

In the past years we have been blessed with the opportunity to furnish Christmas presents to some of the choldren who have not had anyone to ever give them presents for Christmas.  These children are truly in need of our help and we will always be there for them.  2008 will be better than ever.
