| November 10 2002 Well, let's see. Things have been kinda crazy around here with all the wedding stuff. It's still hard to believe that my big sis is getting married. There are only 5 weeks left (as she keeps reminding me) and I'm not sure I'm ready to let her go. It will be really hard to see her leave. We're hoping we'll be able to fly out there in April, for spring break. But that is still 4 whole months that I won't get to see my sister. :( So far school is okay. I am way behind in math so I need to focus on that now. I just feel like I don't have a lot of time to do stuff. Babysitting is going okay. Dylan is 6 months old and although I have to change stinky diapers and watch out for spit-up he mostly just sleeps while he's here so he's easy to take care of. Nicky is a bit harder. He's 3 years old and he wants to have his own way a lot. His favorite phrase is "I say yes!" and I've had to give him 2 time-outs in 2 days. He likes to throw temper tantrums to get his way. Yesterday was Sunny's bridal shower/Pampered Chef party. It was fun to have a lot of people here and Sunny said she really enjoyed her bridal shower. She got a lot of good gifts man! I want to get married so I can get presents too! :) I got a sore throat on Friday and yesterday and today I have a cold. My mom isn't feeling well and April threw up last night so we three are staying home and only my dad and Sunny are going to church and even my dad doesn't feel well! It's just a house full of sick people. :) There isn't much going on this month. Just some wedding things, work, school. I'm not sure what our plans are for Thanksgiving. I'm hoping we can get together with someone. Well, I don't feel so good so I think I'm gonna go lie down. Bye. |

| August 5, 2003 Well, I have started school this week. I know I know, it is very early but I have been out of school for 3 months already and am extremely bored. I am a volunteer at Petsmart for Heaven's Gate Animal Rescue which gets cats and brings some of them to Petsmart in hopes of people adopting them. I clean the cages whenever I like to sign up for it which is only 2 times this month. I did that this morning and will do it again next week Tuesday morning. I like to see the different cats that come in but I do get tempted once in a while to say, hey mom let's get one. I said I was gonna get my learner's permit this summer but I don't know if that will actually happen. April and I will be going out to Cali at the end of August so that should be fun to see Sunny and her fat belly. Then the whole family will be out there for Christmas. Right now Shea is in Guatemala, he has been there visiting his grandparents for 2 months and Rachel is visiting her grandparents for 2 weeks too. Rimshot is in puppy class that we go to every Friday night. He has been making good progress but it is really my responsibility to practice with him during the week. All our pets are fine. Umm, I guess that's it. |
