It's amazing how a person who stays home all day can be so busy! Busy physically and mentally. I feel like I have so many things on my mind. Things to think about, things to pray about, things to wonder about. My mind will surely explode sometime soon.
Life is funny sometimes. You're just cruising along a smooth stretch of road that hasn't changed in miles when all of a sudden curves and potholes come flying out of nowhere! Only through the grace of God can we make it safely to the other side. I feel as though I am going through such a time and would like your prayers for me and that God will reveal His will clearly to me and I will follow it whole-heartedly in all aspects of my life. And if anyone else would like me to pray for them, just tell me and I would be happy to! Lately I feel like all I have been doing is praying but that is good. It is bringing me closer to God and allowing me to rely on Him.
In other news... I went driving with Mrs. Weber last Thursday and Friday. I got good "grades" from her and received my certificate of completion so now I can go take the driving test whenever I have all my hours in. I need 6 more hours but am not sure if I will actually do them or not. My dad just wants me to make them up and go ahead and take the test. He is bad, I know. ;)
Next week Saturday is my mom's birthday! The big one, 50!! Aaaahhhh! Still don't know what I want to get her and it is less than 2 weeks away! Just like April and I still haven't gotten Sophia a gift. Gonna have to do that soon, but of course the one problem with getting gifts is that everyone is like "I don't have any money, waaahhhh". I am probably the richest person in my household right now and I don't even have a job! (shakes head) It's sad. :)
We are supposed to be having a joint worship service with the hearing church this month, don't know if that is gonna happen or not. Also we might plan a little something special for Oct 31, Reformation Day. Some other people outside of our church are interested in coming if we do something a little different.
I guess that is all for now. I still have other stuff to do on the website, plus things I need to do here at home, plus I am getting hungry for a snack. :) So that means time to stop writing in here. B y e ! |
