| Raves Movies SPIDERMAN was way cool. It was pretty funny too. My sisters and I cracked up a few times. My Dad watched it with us, and surprise surprise, he actually stayed awake for the whole movie! His eyes didn't close once which is almost a miracle for him. :) Even though spiderman is rated PG-13 there are almost no swear words in it (if any). It is a really good movie and I highly recommend it. Music SUPERCHIC(K) rocks the house again! They have a new CD out called Last one Picked. I loved their first CD and I love this one. Their lyrics have a lot of good messages towards teens and the beat to the music makes your head bob (lol, April). They might sound strange to anyone who hasn't heard them before (the first time I heard them I really didn't like them) but after you listen to it a few times I think you'll like it. Tv shows SURVIVOR has been okay. It still doesn't match the first few ones but it's not awful. I don't really care for any of the people and I'm not rooting for anyone in particular but one of the episodes was really funny. During a challenge one of the teams just couldn't get it right. They seemed to totally ignore the rules and cheat as best as they could to win (but they ended up losing for not following the rules correctly). Jeff Probst (the host) had to repeat himself so many times. He even said "Guys, come on, it's like a broken record." But that didn't even seem to help. Rants Movies THE SCORPION KING was not such a great movie to me. Some of the guys I know liked it but April and I thought it was stupid. Boring plot that has been done before, some stupid music that was made to help The Rock seem more cool but just made him more stupid, and girls in scantily clad clothes (if you can even call them clothes). Yawn! Wake me when it's over. |
