biography
Allan and Liam Wilkinson are a father and son duo from Doncaster, South Yorkshire. They have been performing as a duo, sporadically, for over ten years.
Allan Wilkinson, however, has been a well-known face on the Yorkshire live music scene for over twenty-five years. He has appeared as a solo singer/songwriter and as part of various bands, including Swiftnick, Sovay, Buffalo Brothers and, more recently, Solace.

Liam Wilkinson followed in his dad's footsteps and began performing in the early 1990s, usually joining the Buffalo Brothers as their occasional keyboard player. He has since performed as a solo singer/songwriter and as part of the Scarborough based band, Rockin' Mole.

Nowadays, Allan and Liam usually take to the stage as a duo. Their repertoire consists of self-penned songs and covers by artists such as The Beatles, Lowell George, Gram Parsons, Amazing Blondel and Ron Sexsmith. Being that they are related to each other, it's not suprising that their harmonies can be silky smooth and their coupling of guitar and mandolin makes for a very complete and unique sound.

Occasionally, Allan and Liam are joined by the flautist Michelle Phillips to form their family band, Wilkinson Phillips.

Allan and Liam are available for bookings now. Please email them for details.
