Listen to one of my new songs:
What the Butler Saw (Wilkinson)
'What the Butler Saw' was written about a day in Blackpool. It was recorded in Fleetwood in 2004. I managed to slip in a bit of Ukulele, because I felt it necessary!

I've been playing on the Doncaster Folk scene since I was about twelve. I first backed my dad, singer songwriter Allan Wilkinson, on keyboards - frequently lugging an enormous Yamaha Electone Organ around such clubs as the Three Horse Shoes, Coal Lodge, Hamilton Lodge and Rockingham Arms. When I moved over to Scarborough I joined the band Rockin' Mole with singer songwriters, Gary Duckering, James Wyld and Andy Nurse. Since moving away from Scarborough, I've been writing and performing as a solo musician and have lived in Fleetwood and, currently, York. At the moment, I'm still writing and am performing most frequently as part of a duo with my dad, in the family band, Wilkinson Phillips with my incredibly talented cousin and virtuoso flautist, saxophonist and singer, Michelle Phillips, and as part of the writing team Duckering/Wilkinson with my old mate Gary. - Liam Wilkinson, 2006
