| Please remember to Practice every day. Keep a pencil in your instrument case. We will be learning whole, half, and quarter, and eighth notes and rests. Memorize your notes and their fingerings! Look at the lines and spaces to figure out your new notes. |

Grading Procedures Outstanding = 2 Hours or more of practice per week Satisfactory = 1 to 2 Hours of practice per week Unsatisfactory = Less than 1 Hour of practice per week |
