Lessons

1 - Lessons are given once a week. We will be on a 4 week rotating schedule.
2 -The day will usually stay the same, unless we have an inservice-day or holiday. In that instance, every effort will be made to still give you a lesson another day that week.
3 - If you are in band, you may also need to have your instrument in school on a different day than your lesson day.
4 - The following should be brought to each lesson:
a) Your Instrument
b) Your Lesson Book (Standard of Excellence) and Band Music
c) A Pencil
d) Your completed Practice Chart
5 - Band sectionals will be held over recess for the 5th and 6th grade band members. This is where much of our band music really begins to come into shape.
6 - Private lessons can help speed a beginning musician's mastery of the basics, so that your child is actually playing - and having fun sooner!
