Useless Fact for the day:
The guinea pig is from South America, not Guinea, and it's a rodent, not a pig.

Wow, it has been so long since I have written.  For those of you who are actually interested in reading my journals, I apologize for my laziness.  We have been keeping pretty busy lately, although I'm not exactly sure what we've been doing!  This weekend we went to Vicenza to do our monthly shopping and then we went to a going away party for a guy in Will's shop.  That was Saturday.  Then on Sunday we went to our little service thing in the morning and then that night we went over to a friends house for dinner.  We had a good time.  We had a barbeque and then we played darts afterwards.  You'll never guess who lost, big time!  It starts with an M and ends with an E and it's two letters long!  :-)  My husband was actually behind for awhile, but he wound up pulling ahead and winning.  I think his score was like 250 points and everyone else was around 150 - 190.  Then there was my score.  My total score for the whole night was 45 I think.  I think I was actually playing a different game.  I'm not sure I understood the rules.  I thought the lowest score won, yeah, that's it!

The last time that I wrote in my journal I was writing about how my husband bought me two books by my favorite authors.  Well, two days after I got that package two more packages arrived.  Apparently my husband was in the mood to buy me gifts.  I got another book by my favorite author and 4 articles of clothing.  That boy certainly got some points that week.  He doesn't have to do another nice thing now for at least 3 months! :-)

The manager of our BX retired last week so now we are awaiting the arrival of our new boss.  She is in the States on vacation right now and she doesn't arrive in Ghedi until next week sometime.  That means that Mark and I are the only two here to run the store for over a week.  Of course, now that Ron is gone everyone wants to do strange transactions that Mark and I have never done before and don't know for sure how to handle!  It always happens when the boss is gone!  Anyway, because it's only Mark and I, I am actually working full time this week.  That's great as far as my pay check is concerned.  It's strange though because I have apparently gotten used to only working 6 hours a week so now that I am working 7 hours a day, I'm tired.  Come on, it's only 7 hours, I shouldn't be tired, but I am.  I'll probably just get used to working full time again about the time that I go back to working 6 hours a week!  :-)

Well, I think I'll go for now.  I hope you all have a great day!

Ciao!
