| Windy was diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease with Pulmonary Fibrosis in September of 2003. Her lungs are not able to fill with air properly, and therefore she is unable to breathe without the aid of oxygen. Even with best efforts made by doctors, the medications and treatments are not working. Windy is now facing a lung transplant that costs approximately $500,000 or more. |
