| march 2002 10-3 Rob (3), Jack (2), James (2), Dicky, Pete, Brendan |
The inaugural fixture, played on a rainy afternoon in march ended in a comprehensive thrashing as the CTK XI ran riot in the second half. Dicky opened the scoring with a tame free-kick and then st joes levelled past danny dogs collar in goal. James put us back in the lead before st joes equalised again but two quick goals from jack just before half time, despite tom conways exit meant a healthy lead was established and it was a sign of things to come. Rob moved up from defence to left wing and inflicted maximum damage, and further goals were added by pete, james and brendan and only one conceded to give a final score of 10-3.

| sept 2002 3-4 Brendan (2), Rob |
A distinctly below-par performance by the select gave st joes victory in an exciting game. Brendan opened the scoring before the teachers hit back with two goals in the first half. However, a goal from rob and another from brendan meant we should have done enough but two late goals conceded meant we went home empty-handed.

| march 2003 3-2 Pete (2), Brendan |
A return to winning ways with a narrow victory was the order of the day as we came from behind to snatch a 3-2 win. St Joes opened the scoring before pete equalised to give a 1-1 half time score. The teachers went back into the lead before brendans timely equaliser gave pete the chance to score a solo winner ten minutes from time in front of the watching gary potter.
| jan 2004 7-2 Jack (3), James, Pete, Mike, Matt |
At the end of the christmas holidays, the teachers challenged the select to a game and recieved a deserved hiding. Jack opened the scoring with a well-timed volley before a back post finish from pete and a rocket shot from matt meant we lead 3-0 at the interval. It was more of the same in the second half as james rifled a shot past the keeper and mike sprinted half the length of the pitch before finishing neatly to make it 5-0. The teachers salvaged some pride with a quickfire brace but two further beauties from jack gave the scoreline an uneven look.

| A much changed team took to the field for the fifth fixture, and for the first time this was a team full of tommy more old boys. James Mizen took his place in goal, doing a grand job and gainy and dan led an impressive defence which was only occasionaly breached. Rob's never ending energy supply held the team together and he forged the link between attack and defence on regular occasions. The two wide men put in impressive performances, with last-minute deputiser uncle gosling scoring two great goals with his finely-tuned left foot. Mike led the line impressively, becoming the fox in the box as he grabbed two poachers' goals. Steve dropped back into midfield as jack rather ineveitably pushed forward, but we kept a good shape throughout. The first two goals came from rebounds as first mike and then uncle took advantage of the keeper spilling shots from jack. Joes had equalised in between but a two-goal lead was established in bizarre fashion at the end of the half as their left back sliced the ball skywards and the goalkeeper inexplicably headed it into the net. The second half began with joes pulling a goal back and it looked like they might make a game of it. It wasn't to be however as jack restored the cushion before replacing mizen in nets for the final 20 minutes. Two superbly crafted goals were added from uncle and mike to give the scorline a lopsided look and st joes missed opportunities to get a consolation late on. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| april 2006 3-2 Rob, Mike James. |
A tight game in which we led comfortably at half time with a headed goal from Rob. Then within five minutes of the seond half starting we were 2-1 behind after conceding two sloppy goals, the second of which was a penalty. Rob then set up Mike and then Samways to turn the game back in our favour and we got what was probably a deserved win in the end.
