Innocence and happiness are the bread and milk for such creatures as Changelings. Born out of humanity's dreams, these fae once roamed the earth, immortal and strange, some gods, some imps, some merely legends of old. Now, when people no longer feed the Dreaming with wishes and nightmeres, when they no longer believe, these bright, wonderous beings are forced to shroud themselves in human cases to escape the cold clutches of Banality.

Though human on the outside, to those not fae or Enchanted, you're faerie mein is beautiful or horrible to behold, and your
fleshy countinence may even resemble some of what is truely your own soul.
Divided into two Courts, the fae's personality are mostly influenced by their Legacies--or the characteristics of the light and dark sides of the faerie. In the Seelie Court, the Kith--as they call themselves--are generous and heroic, garbed in traditional clothes and medieval codes. They are generally unselfish, and prize honor almost above all else. Those in the Unseelie Court tend to be rebellious, violent, content on hedonistic values and "live for the moment" lifestyles. They do not respect humanity as the Seelie do, and believe that passion should rule the faerie heart.
A Kithain is born again and again into different bodies, but their soul always remains the same. Ruled by semi-fuedalistic Royalty and Houses, the Kith are:
Sidhe--possessing great beauty, they are the royalty of the Kithain
Nockers--rude and antagonistic, yet extrodinary artisans
Redcaps--brutal warriors, violent and unstable at best
Boggans--hard-working and efficiant, charity is their middle name
Trolls--the honorable guardians of the Kithain
Eshu--travelers who always have a tale to tell
Satyrs--passion and knowlege is life to these bon vivants
Pooka--tricksters who take on the visage of their animal link
Sluagh--dark hermits who delight in secrets and decay.
The Shinning Host is the Laws for Changelings, but tabletop recource books help to flesh out characters. Other Changelings than below exist as well, such as Selkies, Nunnehi, and the Shadow Court,  but they are only allowed with ST permission.
Though the differences between royalty and commoners, Seelie and Unseelie, and Kith are vast, a world that no longer believes is a world with out the Dreaming. Without the essence of creativity, Glamour, the fae could exist no more. It is Autumn here in Concordia, and the Long Winter is soon approaching. So live while you can, love while you can, spread Glamour freely to ward off the Banality. Who knows? There could always be another Spring.

Or innocence could die forever.
