Enter the world of good against evil. Contrary to movies and literature, Werewolf: the Apocalypse is about fighting the good fight on the side of Gaia as one of her lupine warriors. Werewolves, or Garou as they call themselves, live in packs, and septs, and are very seperate from both humans and wolves, though they are born looking like both. They rage against the Wyrm, the horrid, embodiment of chaos and corruption. However, many know they are fighting a loosing battle, and yet it is all they can do to keep the war. If no one does, the Wyrm would wreak havoc unchecked. And maybe, just maybe, they can choak the basterd on the way down.

Garou are separated mostly by three things: Breed, Auspice, and Tribe.
Breed is whether you were born as a homid, or "human," lupis, or "wolf," or a strange mixture of both called a metis.
Auspice is what phase of the moon you were born under.
Ahroun--full moon warriors.
Galliard--gibus moon bards.
Phillidox--half moon judges.
Theurge--crescent moon mystics.
Ragabash--new moon tricksters.

Your tribe is important as well. The tribes are as below:

Get of Fenris--fierce Norse fighters
Child of Gaia--peacefull brothers
Black Furies--Amazon-woman tribe
Stargazers--Asian philosophers
Silverfangs--royalty of the Garou
Fianna--wild Celts of Ireland
Glasswalkers--strange technocrats
Bone Gnawers--street-wise mutts
Silent Striders--mysterious travelers
Red Talons--man-hating lupis tribe
Wendigo--Northern Indian braves
Uktena--Southern Indian shamans
Shadow Lords--secretive, sly, and untrusted skeemers.
Werewolf has many other changeing breeds: Bastet, Newishi, Corax, Ananasi, and Henjiokai are to name a small few. MET books for all of the Bete are not published yet, but they are in the making.
