Hey, wake up. Guess what?
You're dead.

In Wraith: the Oblivion, your battle as one of "the Restless" isn't one of good and evil, not really one of survival. Its against the end of everything ever created. As a spirit, doomed to a dark and depressing afterlife, not many options are open to you. Those who are free lead sorrowful lives, feeding off of the hate and misery in the world, fighting against their evil alter-egos--their Shadows, bent on destroying themselves. For those who are not. . . their short existances serve only the SoulForges, where raw materials and objects are crafted from Restless' bodies.
And beyond it all, lurking in every corner, behind every thought and deed, is Oblivion,
the huge whirlpool of non-existance that is slowly sucking up the universe.

With the fate of becoming a Specter--minion of Oblivion--
smelted into goods or coins, or merely vanishing into the Void itself . . .
what have you got to lose?

Three major factions rule the Underworld:
Hierarchy--the god-less militant organization controled by the powers of the Death Lords, Legionnaires believe that they are the only salvation against Oblivion.
Heretics--souls who can not leave their religions behind, they preach "heretical" doctrine and cry out against the horrible necessity of the SoulForges.
Renegades--the Restless unbound by the strict Hierarcal rule, considered traitors, they chafe against the Legionnaires and often dispariage the dogma of the Heretics.

Which side will you choose? To choose one side is to be distrusted by all. To never choose is certain slavery or Final Death. Or will you become immersed in the mortal world until you're Shadow takes over and destroyes you for good.

Like we said: what  HAVE you got to lose?
Wraith: the Oblivion is difficult to find, seeing as it is now out of print. I am doing my best to find a copy. Hopefully, now that WW is re-vamping most of their MET books, another Wraith will be forthcoming.
