| Spell ~ Crafting |
| Before you read any further, please let me tell you something: I have no intentions whatsoever of placing my most powerful and intrigueing spells for all to see on the internet. So if you are looking for life-changing Magick, then I am afraid you won't find it here. True Magick such as that will only come from within yourself, not from reciting words you have found written by someone else. Refusal will follow any e-mails requesting spells for money or love ~ I do not personally agree with such spells for the following reasons: Love spells are designed to force another person to go against their free will ~ and that is simply wrong. Much more apt would be a spell to draw a person (not a specific person) to you who will be well-suited ~ beneficial to both parties. To gain money, it often means that someone else will be losing it. It is much better to ask for 'Just' return for hard work, or for luck. Any spell that deigns to bend anothers free will is against my beliefs ~ I certainly would not like to have such a spell cast against me...and would you? Trying to overpower the will of another is taking away their freedom to choose. This is a way I like to look at things: Never do something to anyone else that you would not like done back to you. I do live by the threefold law ~ not exactly because I think everything I do will return to me three times as good or bad, but more in that I believe everything I do (or anyone does) has a 'ripple effect'. There are consequences to every action, and I do not want to be the cause of something bad happening to anyone else. This effect will touch so many people ~ and because of this, it may come back to me, as my life is touched by so many others too. I hope that was pretty much clear ~ I tend to write things 'off the top of my head', and this page is no exception *smiles* I will be placing some simple spells here ~ easy for a novice to understand, and simple enough for anyone to embellish or change to suit their own tradition or beliefs. |

| A spell is not made by stating words and expecting something to happen. It starts with a true and genuine desire to make something happen. It is based on intent and self-will. When weaving Magick, you are harnessing a power not only within yourself, but a force that is all around you too. The intent must be to never harm anyone with deed, will, or thought. I personally believe that there should be a true need for whatever you are casting the spell for ~ not just a desire for it. The person casting the spell should have a knowledge about what they are doing. Magick really does work ~ and you should be prepared for that (some people don't believe in Magick, so when something happens, it can be quite a shock for them!). The intent to do good, and be positive is a must, and you should be able to visualise your goals, and what you want to achieve with the spell. |
| A lot of Witches will say that anyone casting a spell should have indepth knowledge about what day of the week a spell should be cast, what lunar phase, even the precise hour the spell should be woven. There may be planetary correspondences to consider, colour correspondences, astrological influences...etc. The list could be endless! I do not feel the need to be quite so indepth about casting a spell. I have the intent, the need, the desire and the will...and that has worked well so far. I do use certain colours for individual spellworking, specific scents and fragrances. I have a certain way of casting that works well for me, and has had many wonderful results ~ and I have bought no ill effects or harm to anyone; nor myself, I might add. |
| So, you don't think you can work your own magick..? Think about things this way...Everytime you have a good thought, wish someone well, or even wonder happily what someone else is doing, you are making a wish. Any spell is basically a wish, and a spell is Magick...So, it's something you have been doing all your life ~ You can weave Magick! |
