Birds and Butterflies |
Birds and butterflies have a special place in the Outdoor Classroom. We have three bird feeders in the garden for resident and migratory birds. Students write essays about certain birds as they migrate through our portion of the Arkansas Ozarks. We as well take pictures to document the birds' migrations. The pictures of the monarchs were taken during the Monarch Watch program this fall at Witts Springs School. For the monarchs we have provided lots of open space, and flowers which you can learn about in our web page called Organic Garden Attempts. |
