Forbidden Love
Part Two -  Winds of Change

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, ce soir" Naomi had beed humming Lady Marmalade all day. She gave Lewis a quick look before finishing cleaning up. It had been a week since they had first met. Oswald was still clueless as to their relationship. "Y'know" Lewis started, "Why don't we pay the Warsaw another visit?" Naomi finished washing her hands and looked at him. "Why not? Make a public debut" She smiled. "There is someone I want you to meet, anyway"
"If he's anything like you, you'd better get the firehose ready" She winked and went to change. "Isn't it a bit early? I mean it's only 6…" Naomi peeked from behind the doorway. "Exactly" She touched her nose and went back into the room.
  An hour later, she STILL wasn't ready. Lewis looked at his watch. It had taken him ten minutes to get on a dress shirt and slacks. He tapped his foot impatiently. "Ready!" Naomi called from the bathroom. "Finally!" She came out wearing a white blouse, tight blue jeans and her hair in a pony.
Ouch. Lewis thought impatiently. "You're dressed a bit fancy, I mean it's only a bar…" He chuckled. "We're not going to be there ALL night" He peeked out the door. Drew and the others were there. Drew had a bruise on the left side of his face from where Lewis has hit him. It's not like he didn't deserve it, but… Naomi interuppted his thoughts. "So, are we going?" He blinked. "Yea, you stay here for right now. I'll come get you" She nodded and smiled. Lewis closed the door behind him as he descended the steps.
  "Lewis!" Kate yelled to him. Drew glared at him as he sat down. "Sorry for hittin' ya, buddy. You kinda almost killed my girlfriend" He said, coldly. Drew cracked a smile. "I'm sorry, man. So, why you dressed up? Got a date tonight?" Oswald took a sip of his Buzz beer. "Yea, like that'll ever happen!" He laughed, then stopped, seeing as everyone was staring at him. "Actually, I do have a date, and no she isn't a monkey" Drew stood up. "Well, until I see flesh, I'm going to get some more beer" Lewis rolled his eyes. "Come on, we wanna see her!" Oswald was practically bouncing in his seat. Lewis held up his hands in defeat. "All right, all right. Gimme a sec" He turned and went up the stairs. "Come on, Naomi" He called after opening the door to his apartment. "Coming" She replied back. They walked down, Naomi's arm through Lewis', to a surprised Kate and Oswald. "Woah" Kate murmured. "Guys, this is Naomi. She's my date" Oswald grinned. "If she's really your date, kiss her!" Kate hit Oswald upside the back of his head. "Oswald! Be polite!" Naomi blushed. Drew started returning from the bar, with two pitchers of beer, right when Lewis leaned over and kissed Naomi. Dropping the beer, Drew turned red and turned Lewis around. "Hi, Drew" Was the last thing he uttered before Drew hit him. Lewis stumbled back into a table which, in turn, broke underneath him. "Drew! What the hell was that for?!" Drew turned to Kate, cheast heaving. Naomi stood, mouth wide open, eyes wide. "I want to know WHY Lewis was kissing…" Lewis bounded up to him and slugged him before he could finish.
  Before Naomi could say anything, Lewis and Drew had started a brawl. Amidst her attempts to stop them, the two were too busy fighting to notice her. She finally got ticked and screamed at the top of her lungs. "STOP!" Everyone in the bar freezed. "Drew! Why in hell are you beating the crap out of Lewis?!" He stood and brushed himself off. "Gotta protect my little sis, yknow"
"Protect me?! Newsflash! I'm not five anymore!" While Drew and Naomi argued, Lewis also stood and thought.
The brother that… oh my God! Why didn't it hit me sooner? All of a sudden, he found Naomi's arms wrapped around his waist. "Lewis!" Drew called to him, menicingly. "Yes Drew?" He replied, uncoiling Naomi from his waist. Drew stormed up to him and thrust a finger into his chest. "I want you to stay AWAY for my sister. You got me?" Lewis stepped back. "Drew, you can't!" He turned to Naomi. "And why not?" Drew glared at her. She stuttered, apparently afraid. "B..because I love him, and you cannot and will not decide what I will and will not do!" She glared back. Drew grabbed her by the arm and escorted her outside. "Like hell I won't!" Lewis had it in his head to go after her, but it was just be another fight. He plopped down in a chair. "Lewis… I'm so sorry" Kate gingerly touched  his arm, which he pulled away. "Sorry? You're sorry? Thanks Kate, like that's gonna help" Naturally, Kate was hurt. It's ok, buddy. She thought silently. Without further word, Lewis went up to the apartment and locked himself in his room, like a pouting child would.
  Back at Drew's house, it was the same. After a few arguments, Naomi had indeed gotten her point across. Instead her locking herself in, Drew locked her in until she calmed down. She leaned against the wall and stared out the window, looking for any sign of him. Little did she know that Lewis was doing the exact same thing.
