Coming Events....
The mission of the Army JROTC is to motivate young Americans to become better citizens. To accomplish this mission, the program of instruction (POI) includes courses such as citizenship, leadership, first-aid, and various other courses designed to help students succeed in high school and throughout the rest of their life. The JROTC program prepares students for responsible leadership roles while making them aware of their rights, responsibilites, and
oppurtunities  that will benefit the students, community, and nation. The JROTC program provides students with many extra experiences that  are both academically and physically stimulating which promote school and community involvement. JROTC fosters postive citizenship, patriotism, self-reliance/discipline, leadership responsiveness to constituted authority, and better verbal and written skills for the future. However, what makes the JROTC program so unique is that we dont stop at theory. For example, we dont just teach students effective public speaking and how to construct a proper essay. Rather, we allow them to create a speech and then stand up and deliver it. As a result, the cadets recieve the oppurtunity to first-hand learn how to create and execute it.Thus, they not only learn skills in JROTC, but they also get the chance to apply their skills.
