  • 4/2/09 We as Americans deserve better than to bail out companies who time after time support bad business practices. We as Americans should not be paying our neighbors mortgage because they bought a house they KNEW they would never be able to pay off,and the banks lent them the money anyway just so they could rake in the interest. What they didn't count on was people defaulting on loans they finally realized they couldn't pay, and now banks want bailed out because of their own greed and stupidity by participating in irresponsible lending practices. GM hammering out SUVs when gas was $4+ per gallon. Why are we rewarding bad behavior? Yes I feel some regulation is in order seeing how these businesses keep proving they are inept, but regulate ONLY to a certain extent. Make them file bankruptcy, and reevaluate the way they do business like any other company in America. Stop bailoutmania NOW! Regulate to an extent NOW, but stay the hell away from my health care!
