Cache Rapids Stable Equestrian Information Seminar #1
Clinician is Dennis Mahoney - hunter/jumper trainer and coach from New Brunswick, who has worked with high-level hunter/jumpers across Canada and US. Topics include training tips, exercises, course building, difference between hunter/jumper, etc. Sessions run from 10am - 4pm. $65.00 per person/per session or $120.00 for both sessions. Deadline is April 14th. Seminars will be followed by a tack swap.

Silverwood Stable Western Riding & Shoeing Clinic
Clinician is John Hughes from New Brunswick - Judge, Trainer and Farrier. Three-day riding clinic fee is $225.00 (includes the shoeing clinic which be held in the evenings of Saturday and Sunday). Shoeing clinic alone is $25. Limited spaces so register early. A $50 deposit will reserve your spot. *Reminder for those attending to have yourself and your horses ready for work.*

The WNEC is presenting the video "Ride Safely on the Trail" featuring renowned trainer Stacy Westfall. The video covers various aspects of trail safety including tips, training exercises, problem solving, crossing obstacles, etc. Event is FREE for WNEC members - $5.00 for non-members. Begins 7pm in the Lecture Theatre of the College of the North Atlantic in Corner Brook.

Equine Specific NCCP Course
Facilitator is Betty Anne McPhedran from Manitoba (Coach Mentor - English & Western, Judge, EQHS, JU, HU, GP). This course replaces the generic NCCP course and the EC Learn to Teach Course and is a great learning experience and update for all equestrians and coaches. *Required pre-requisite to obtaining Equine Canada Instructor/Coach certification.

Trail Ride
The WNEC is hosting a trail ride at the Pasadena Ski Club for members only. Bring your horses and join us at 1pm to start the ride. Trail should take approximately 2 hours. Cost $5/person. (If rained out, ride will be held on June 29th.)
