Arzera "Tommie" Bullock
b. Sept. 14, 1841
Arzera married George Washington Crocker. She helped the sick, doctored the ill and delivered hundreds of babies.
"Aunt Tom" (with her medicine bag).
Because of George Washington Crocker Arzera  was named Dreadie London . The reason for this name according to George was that a woman
rode a white horse in the Civil War by that name.

George said that she was very brave and fearless, she road from front line
to front lines delivering messages on the battlefields. Carnell Wright

*Notes for ARZERA TOMMIE BULLOCK"AUNT TOM":
On tome stone it is spelled Arzearo on widow`s pension she filled it out Arzera

According to the story passed on to me the reason she was called Aunt Tom is because she was always called upon to doctor the sick and deliver babies.
They say she had a black bag with all her medicine in it and would go anywhere on horseback to help the sick. As told it is no telling how many babies she help to be delivered.
