| I don't know if you know about the burial site of James Whitis Bullock and his wife, Nancy Horton. They are both buried in Millwood, Collin County, Texas. The town of Millwood no longer exists so the cemetery (which is all that is left of the town) was renamed Millwood Cemetery. Nancy was buried there when she died in 1854 and James was buried there when he died in 1859. After we finally found the cemetery at the end of a long, one lane gravel road, my brother and I walked the entire cemetery looking for headstones or markers, but there weren't any. The historical marker (I took a digital picture of it) mentions Nancy being buried there. I was so disappointed that we couldn't find something to show where they were buried, although there were a lot of very small stones with metal tags labeled "Unknown" on them. |
