WHERE DIGIMON COME FROM
Traditionaly (on the show), digimon just kinda...show up in eggs, they hatch with the help and care of the digimon that guard the field of digi-eggs.  They're put together with info from around the web, or the reassembled data from dead digimon (if thier data wasn't absorbed by whatever defeated them).  *LITTLE KIDS CAN SKIP THIS PART, YOU WOULDN"T KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT ANYWAY* Eventually I might allow people to breed thier digimon (older people, this site is for youngsters too); it would be theoreticaly possible, if digimon are just data entered by people in the real world, but can be defeated and absorbed in the digital world, they could, in theory, just mate and data would be created that they had kids and show up as eggs, or, if need be, someone could just enter it into their computer and create eggs, and say they were their kids.  Theoretically (what I'll probably use if I do decide to let you breed them), digimon of the same species would create more of the same species, and those of different species would create completly new digimon.
HOW TO ADOPT
To adopt a digimon, just go to the rules page and read through them, then fill out the form.  You can pick a digimon from the ones we've already created, or the ones from the show that we redraw.  Our friends also contribute to the digimon, since we (Sukie and Raka) can't draw them all ourselves, they're mainly just weird things we drew before we got this idea.  Please understand that 3 of us are artists, 1 is not, that's Sukie, she sucks, she's also the one typing this, so she admits it.  If you want one done by someone other than Sukie, please say so, which will probably be most people.  All the ones we already have up say who made them, so you can request one by a specific person.  You can also request poses, color, size, just about anything you want, we ain't guaranteeing you'll get it, but it's worth a shot.
STUFF YOU NEED
Adopting them like this makes them more special than just regular click-and-takes, you actually have to try for these.  Just about anyone with a kid appropriate site will get one, but only special people, who make nice pages and write stories will have theirs digivolve.  You have to fill out another form to digivolve.  All digimon will start out in baby form, then go to in-training and rookie, beyond that are several different paths, you can get all of the digivolved forms, you can even DNA digivolve.  You can look through the list of people who have already adopted and get to know someone, then e-mail them and ask if they want to DNA digivolve with you, then both of you have to e-mail either Sukie or Raka and both of you have to fill out the form so I can decide what the combined digimon will look like.  You can only have one digimon though, unless you do characters.  You can create multiple characters, personas, and get one for each, kinda like a dragon adoption agency.  But you (or your character) have to be under 18, cause children are more pure, or something like that, and only they can get digimon.  Making stories, or telling about you or your persona too will get you digivolved forms.  Just having them sit on a page will not.  You also need to make sure there are eggs in the field, if there isn't you won't get one.  They can show up anytime, and you get put on a list, when the list is full, they hatch.
Digimon can't digivolve without some help, you need something like a digivice to help them.  There are all kinds of things to help them digivolve, like eggs, crests and even little digimon like Calamon.  When you get a digimon at first, you can either already have a digivice, or we'll send you one with the digimon.  Unless you pick a different one, everyone adopting from one clutch will get the same kind of digivice, one we make up.  And different levels require different things, which ones you need for what is explained on the digivice page.  All you need to do is put it up on the pages with the digimon.
So go forth into the digital world brave young digidestined (or tamers) and save the world (or whatever).  For whatever reason the digital world has brought you here, the is no denying your destiny!!!
back to home
K, that was lame.
EXPLANATIONS
If anything seems a little out of place, or doesn't fit in with the show, it's because I made it up.  Some things in the show just don't add up, especially from one season to the next, so I've decided to have everything here make a little more sense, and I just wanted to do things my way.  So anything weird (not that digital monsters aren't already weird) is because I made it up (just like the show's creators do), if you don't like it, go away.  If you have any suggestions, or pictures, send them to Sukie, her e-mail address is around here somewhere.  And just for the record, I realize the show's creators probably have no idea about this, I didn't ask them first, and I don't claim to be associated with any of them in any way, and I'm not trying to steal their idea or anything, I just thought this would be fun, I'm not making any profit.  And any digimon from the show is the property of the show's creators, not the person who sent it to me, though, if it was redrawn, I have no idea what rules apply to the actual image.  And any original drawing sent to me is the property of its creator, and if I find out it's stolen, they're in big trouble.
