Dyan is a 16.3 hand bay Thoroughbred mare foaled March 16, 1987. She's a big, cuddly sweetheart! She is listed in the International Sporthorse Registry's Main Mare Book and has a strong racing pedigree, being by the highly successful West Coast sire, Captain Courageous, and out of the black type stakes winner, Dyanzastar.
Dyan is a rescue Thoroughbred, rescued from extreme neglect and given to me by my friend, Dr. Barbara Weber of
Solstice Farm

Matisse is Dyan's second foal and her first Curly. This photo was taken on their first outing, the day after his birth. We will rebreed her to Rush River Slash in 2001.
