Matisse was born just a few hours after my 53rd birthday--May 17, 2000--so he seemed destined to become my special horse.
He's a lovely dark chestnut with a star, sock, half pastern, and one white heel, and ticking scattered throughout his flanks and underbelly. He is pictured here in his early autumn coat and is becoming curlier and curlier with every passing day!
Since his dam stands 16.3 hands tall, Matisse should be a big boy! He's definitely destined to become our future junior stallion.
