Welcome to City Of Wolverhampton Volleyball Club's Website. We are a team based in the West Midlands currently playing in Division 2 of the Women's National League. Formerly known as Birmingham Ladies, the club was founded in 2001.
The journey down to Devon was worth it for the W'ton squad as they beat Devon Ladies  in 3 straight sets in order to go through to the EVA K.O cup semi final against Loughborough first team to be played on the 8th March.

Straight sets win against local rivals Warwick Riga (1/03/03)
This 3-0 win allowed Wolverhampton to reach the top of the table for the first time in their history! However it was short lived as Tameside scored maximum points with their win against Salford in the Manchester derby to regain the top spot.
SEMI FINAL WIN AGAINST LOUGHBOROUGH!!!!!! (8/03/03)
Wolverhampton are now hard in training as they prepare to meet London Malory in the cup final against Oxford. The semi was a good game, with a very high standard of playing, but Wolverhampton yet again emerged the winners. The match report even appeared in the Express and Star, fame at last!

London Malory edge it in Cup Final (5/04/03)
In the big match on Saturday at Guildford Spectrum, Wolverhampton succumbed to the strength of Malory, suffering a 3-1 loss.

Wolverhampton Top!! (21/09/03)
In only their third season as a club Wolverhampton are now top of the Prosport National League Division One. The only team so far with two wins and no defeats, Wolverhampton have reache top spot with 3-1 victories over Dulwich Tuskers and Polonia Ladies.
New players for a new division (09/03)
Wolverhampton welcomes 3 new players for the beginning of the season, Lucy Wicks (formerly of Loughborough), Claire Nex and Tiina Kanninen.
Bad news....... (09/03)
Wolverhampton suffered a bad blow in their pre season training as Kerri Olding suffered a serious ankle injury. She is currently recovering on crutches and hopes to make it back some time in 2004.
