Tips for Fixing Broken Links
- If you are new at working with the web you may encounter unfamiliar
terms. There are websites available that may help you with
technological terms.
- Fixing links can sometimes be impossible because the link no longer
exists on the web. When this happens, either take the link out or post a
message by it explaining that the link is dead.
- Fixing links can also be fun, if you think of it as a game. With a little bit of good detective work links can be properly restored.
- There is not one correct way to fix links. Find a system or
pattern that works for you.
- If you don't want to spend the time or effort needed to fix links you can
always hire someone else to do it. There are plenty of
companies available online who
are willing to do it for you.
