Things for the inside that have to stay outside

Next came the generator stand which starterd out as our first front porch.  Chris modified it, added doors and a roof, shingled it and chained it to the trees.

Things for the gardens

During the summer of '98, he was on a roll for building garden furniture.  He started with this beautiful arbor at the entrance to the garden paths I'd been running all through the woods.

Next, he built a bridge at the entrance to a different set of paths that connect to the others, eventually.  These paths are still under construction, but Chris was ahead of me.

And finally for the summer of '98, Chris built a park bench to sit on the hill behind the house.  Sometimes we sit there with the dogs and enjoy the woods around us.  It's so peaceful.
