Bill would have to be the craziest of us all!! The mighty little KDX200 is an absolute champion dirt machine! For a long time Bill didnt do ANY maintenance - he just rode it, and rode it HARD. Except for a few new swingarm bearings, the odd set of rings, or a few weeks left out in the rain, he was just in it for the riding. "Oil changes are over-rated" would often be heard coming out of his gob, along with "I might clean the air filter before the next ride.......nah fuck it."
Recently there's been a change in Bill's stance on mods/regular maintenance, with the addition of a FMF 'Gnarly' pipe and silencer, new rings and a general top end overhaul.
Bill reckons the little 200 is a "rocket ship" and I believe him cause the XR always has a hard job keeping up with it... |
