| Maw and Paw let me an Rick go a ridin our motobisickles from the trayler pawk up an down them there hills..... I went riding with my brother Rick in the pristine Glasshouse Mountains. Rick had warned me about a huge bog-hole around a blind corner at the bottom of a hill. Assuming Rick was full of shit (cause we all know a dirt bike can get through anything), I went screaming around said corner straight into a 6 meter long pit of trecherous "quick clay." |
| The bike had sunk so far that the clay was up over the crank case! When I got off the bike, it just stood there, stuck vertical in the clay and impossible to move! |
| We tried for 30 mins to get the mighty KDX unstuck, but to no avail. We ended up going home for some rope and finally (after another hour) towed the bike out. Once finally free, I found that the mud had filled the brake calipers and discs - rendering them useless (who uses brakes anyway?) and I had mud flicking in my eyes for the rest of the ride until the spokes finally cleared!!! Yip Ya |
