| Water Dog (WD) and Water Rescue Dog (WRD) are titles offered by the Newfoundland Club of America for Newfoundland Dogs that are at least 6 months old and handlers completing the requirements for each test. Dogs must have their WD before being allowed to test for their WRD. Water Dog (WD) test consists of: Basic Control Dogs having earned their AKC Companion Dog (CD) titles are exempt from this exercise.
