Thirty-ninth Annual World Senior Golf International Team Tournament 
and
Forty-Second World Senior Golf Championship Matches

August 24 through August 30, 2001

The World Senior Golf Association conducts a golf tournament during the 
last days of August each year at the Broadmoor Hotel in Colorado Springs.  
We have two days of optional practice; two days of (combination) World 
Seniors team play competition;  championship flight qualifying; and medal 
play by age group tournament for the Presidents Trophies.  This is followed 
by a 16 man flight match play tournament.

Typically:	Friday and Saturday	World Seniors Team Play or Championship Qualifying or Medal play for the Presidents Trophy.
	Sunday	Maytag Championship Flight match play; Day off for all other players
	Monday-Thursday	Match play for all flights.

The tournament ends at the championship banquet the Thursday evening 
before Labor Day.

Our tournament includes a 3 day tournament for golf playing wives and 
social activities for the non golfing wives.  We normally have four cocktail 
parties and two dinners.  The wives have a hospitality coffee with fruit and breakfast rolls each morning.




The World Senior Golf Federation Championship features an international team medal play tournament followed by the world's most popular international match play tournament.
