Requirements for Raising
Novice to Accepted
RPers
In a two month period, 4 RP's follwoing these guidelines:
1. RP's will consist of at least 4 paragraphs, please do not make them one-sentence paragraphs.
2. First RP to get your character to the White Tower (this is your bio), please indicate a physical description, your country of origin and any other personality traits you'd like people to know.
3. Second RP is for a class. If you need ideas, please ask a full sister and she can guide you in a type of class to RP about.
4. Third RP is free writing (ie. Life in the Tower and how you're adjusting).
5. Fourth RP is your 3 arches raising to Accepted.
(Please understand that these are the required number of RP's, you may *certainly* write as many as you please in this time period but, these are the ones that will be counted towards your raising.)
Non-RPers
In a two month span a non-RPer is required to post at least 25 (3 a week) on-topic posts, whether in answer to someone else's on-topic post or starting a new thread. SAR's (smart all replies) or simply agreeing with a theory will not be counted toward your quota.
Accepted to Aes Sedai
RPers
In a two month period you will be required to post 4 RPs following these guidelines:
1. RP's will consist of at least 4 paragraphs.
2. Three of these RP's may be to your choosing. We suggest they enforce growth in your persona and could include the following topics:
a. Studying
b. Classes
c. Building friendships
d.Ajah choosing discussions
These are just suggestions, please feel free to expand on your character as much as you like while still remaining true to the scope we've been given by RJ.
3. Your Fourth RP will contain your Raising to Aes Sedai and when you're at that point either Tammy or Berta, as Tamane, will contact you with questions you must answer and also requirements to be used in that specific RP.
Non-RPers
In a two month span a non-RPer is required to post at least 40 on-topic posts (5 a week), whether in answer to someone else's on-topic post or starting a new thread. SAR's (smart ass replies) or simply agreeing with a theory will not be counted toward your quota.
For Both RPers and Non-RPers
It is required that you as Novice and Accepted remain respectful to all full Aes Sedai, Warders, Asha'man, Wise Ones, etc. As in RJ's books, any disrespect or misstep will be punished by the Mistress of Novices in an RP form. Should it become problematic, time will be added to your current station accordingly (ie. First infraction = 2 extra weeks, second infraction = another 2 weeks, etc.).
As Novice and Accepted, all RP's will be reviewed by the Mistress of Novices in their entirety, for content and accuracy. We do not want to stifle your creativity, but yet, there must be guidelines as with the actual White Tower in the series.
