My dad's shop is just a wee bit different..... He recently had a 14'x20' barn-style shop built in the backyard, and proceeded to make the inside look like a 21st century shop class.... First are a few pictures of custom designed tools and fixtures to make life a little easier around the shop
Router table my dad made outfitted with Milwakee's new 3 1/2hp variable speed router and on/off foot control
Large surface downdraft table I made for my dad for christmas. Attaches directly to dust collection system for minimal air-borne dust while sanding.
Here are a few shots of the dust collection system designed for lathe work. A large-debris collector mounted to the front and an adjustable sanding dust collector mouted behind the lathe make clean-up 'alittle easier.'
Here is the most recent addition to the shop. This tool holder uses rare-earth magnets to lock each tool safetly in place between use. Shelves provide space for small tools while slits in the side provide easy access to sanding strips.
