Welcome to Cynthism.

Cynthism is a newly sprouted interactive religion/belief system.

Cynthism is different things to different people.

Cynthists enter information about themselves, their current religion if any, their preferences & whims of the moment, and a custom-made belief system is created for them. It will tell them which text(s) to hold sacred, which being(s) to esteem above all others, which rituals to follow, which clothes to wear, which foods to eat, which holy days to observe, and most of all, which groups of people to hate.

If Cynthists will simply follow the dictates of their customized belief system*, we promise them no further mental anguish over having to make decisions themselves. Their salvation lies in surrender to the beliefs that have been given to them by the "eternal wise Cynthia," who is, coincidentally, very chummy with all possible beings to be worshiped**.

One bug in the alpha version of Cynthism was that the Cynthists, believing different things as they did, and being properly intolerant of those who believed otherwise, were killing each other off. Which displeased the eternal wise Cynthia immensely, because her profits -- er, prophets, were suffering the effects. So, she proclaimed that no Cynthist shall harm another Cynthist. That is the "Prime Law," which all Cynthist religions have in common. The only other law all Cynthist religions have in common is known as the "Other Prime Law," which states that the eternal wise Cynthia only takes cash.

Yes! I want to become a Cynthist!

No, I am pathetic and worthless and wish to pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity in favor of my own flawed world-view which will bring me fulfillment neither in this world nor in the next
