WHO WILL BE MY VALENTINE
Who will be my valentine?
Who will say they will be mine?
Who'll help me drink my box of wine
And not compare it to turpentine?
Who will hike through life with me?
And whose eyes will gaze lovingly?
Who'll help remove the blown down tree
With thoughts of love, and willingly?
Who'll salve my heart when it is broken?
Who'll say the words that needst be spoken?
I cannot even find a token
For a train ride to Hoboken.
No one calls on the telephone.
There are some things I’ll never own.
The box of wine is almost gone.
I drank it by myself alone.
