IIn 1958, my dad, over my mother's objections, bought me a Cushman Highlander.  It was the stripped model, looked more like a Tote-Gote than a scooter but it was my pride and joy and started what has become an obsession of sorts.  I've lost track of the motorcycles I've had since then but have listed on another page those that I remember.  I'm down to four from a high a couple years ago of five or six (the perfect number of bikes is 'one more'.)  Be sure to check my 'Travelin' page for new adventures from time to time.  My most recent adventure was summer of '08 when I spent two weeks in Colorado and rode the great roads of the far west.  I'll have pictures soon and plan to submit it to Rider Magazine.
2004 Yamaha FJR1300
1998 Kawasaki KLR650, the Swiss Army Knife of motorcycles!  This is old blue with new paint but now it belongs to someone else.  In it's place is a 2007 black beauty.  Had 1400 miles, pics to come soon.

In October we bought this 2005 K1200 Lt.  On December 4, 2004, with 3664 miles on it, it was totalled in an altercation with a Chevy.  Click the photo to read about it.  And the good news is....May 21, 2005, we picked up the replacement.  Near new, 1918 miles.  Identical except for a few more farkles!
This is the latest, a 1996 DR350SE scored off Craig's list from a guy about 40 miles away.  I added the Clark tank and Acerbis Brush Busters, swapped the 'pumper' carb from the '90 DR and added Racetec cartridge emulators and Progressive springs to the front.Love the way it handles now, and the 'magic button!'leds
