~ Muses Grove of Michi Tala~

Eyes of yellow,
winds of ice and snow,
come brothers- my clan.

Let me run with you tonight,
my wild pack with coats of silver and black,
Let me stretch my legs and run with you,
your cries and howls set ablaze my heart with fire and love of the chase.

Do let me be a fierce hunter as you,
the lone howling and of the full midnight moon, let me run with you, my brothers of the earth.

~Wolf Woman~
(based on Sioux Legend: Wolf Woman Running)

Old wisdom,
brotherly ties,
wolf and woman,
teaching others.

Brother wolf,
sister woman,
racing together,
in the stars,
for all time.

Lost,
cold,
hungry,
young Indian Maiden,
trekking far.

Married,
abusive husband,
fleeing,
young Indian Maiden,
searching for others.

Warmth,
love,
food,
brother wolf gives,
life to her
.

Time
lessons,
magic,
wolf woman grows,
learns the secrets.

Good-byes,
sadness,
parting,
wolf woman must leave,
return to her people.

Suprise,
awe,
powerful medicine,
wolf woman returns,
sharing knowledge.

~Wolf & Girl~

~ Lone Wolf~

Tall swaying grass,
alittle blonde head,
a girl leaping,
playing,
running through the grass.

A summer breeze,
blowing the tall grass,
a large grey form,
a wolf leaping,
playing,
running through the grass.

The tall swaying grass,
parting here and there,
a large gentle wolf,
a small blonde girl,
chasing each other in the field,
companions,
friends,
playmates,
the summer breeze dances with the grass.

Eyes of deep blue,
full of sadness,
lonely- lost as a child.

Your love,
your mate,
torn from you-tragic is your loss.

Shake of your dark locks,
bittersweet smile,
time heals-all broken hearts.

A mournful song,
floats from your tender lips,
music fills the soul-find love again.

Another,
awaits your kindness,
search- for a new love.

Live again,
live in love,
sing a song of it.

Blood Ties

When I run free,
so shall you.

When I disappear,
so shall you.

NEVER forget we are related,
by blood,
by spirit,
you and I,
FOREVER.

I am What I am

I am what I am
accept me for what I am,
dont' tempt me,
respect me and my thoughts,
I am what I am.

Try and change me if you can,
frame me,
blame me,
love and hate me,
for
I am what I am.

Now, then and forever,
I shall and always be,
I am what I am.

~Raven~ (hiaku)

black as midnight sun,
                  Trickster survey his domain,
                                               cawing is his call.
