Spirit

of the

Crone

Messenger

Tree of Life

Unseen but sensed,
the air-thick with your presence,
clad in darkness,
a scent- out of this realm.

Energy prickling,
filling my body,
who shall walk with you-this night?

Death,
Goddess,
Crone-deliverer of the dead.

I,
of all,
know you are here,
welcome you-for it is the way of life.

Spring comes,
gentle blossoms blow,
the newness of the season.

Summer arrives,
breezes caress,
grand limbs giving shade.

Fall creeps in,
the taste of the harvest in the air,
beautiful fruit left to gather.

Winter coldly clasps,
you slumber,
dreaming of another spring to come.

Soaring lightly on the wind,
keen eyes of gold,
searching-hunting for your prey.

Feathers ruffled,
silently gliding,
your shrill cry fills the air.

Messenger,
carrier of prayers,
hear me-take them up.

Honor,
respect-on looker of the skies,
would you,
carry my prayer?

A Mother's Love

Spirits

A moment and then gone again,
a wisp of a ghost.

Some see,
some don't
yet I dream of the dead.

In this realm,
out of another,
what binds you?

Go-find peace,
in the hereafter and beyond.

Teacher of love and care,
a mother's touch,
her love.

Birth,
pain and ultimate act,
bringing forth life.

Kisses away tears,
hugs,
with only love she knows.

Watches and let's you grow,
leave,
love unconditionally.

From beyond,
her love,
transcends even death.

Web

Web of Life,
weaving constantly,
intertwined.

Spider of life,
symbol of infinity,
divine number eight.

Web and spirder,
potent magic,
earthly connection.
