She died in 1934 at Grandmother Nora Williams Richardson home after accidently swallowing a mouth full of pins when she sneeze. She was there with the women club sewing quilts patches for the church.

He served in the military War of 1812 in 4 REGIMENT VIRGINIA MILITIA..
Hezekial father David Copeland Sr. was a very successful farmer in TN. (according to the Tax Records of 1810, 1815 of TN, he had property in Maury and Greene Co. TN totaling over 2, 000 acres). David Copeland had Hezekail to drived a herd of sheeps to be sold at a stockyard in VA. He sold the herd for a lot less money than what David had hope for. Needless to say, David was very upset with him. (Rumor has it that his father was quick temper and hold a grudge for a long time). The following fall, Hezekail was asked to drive another herd of sheep to VA. This time he warned Hezekail that if he didn't sell the herd for what he wanted then he was not to come back home again. That is how we ended up in WV.
