Welcome to the first Virtual League RAW. Tonight we are going to have a one-night 16 man Tournament to crown the first Virtual League World Heavyweight Champion. Each match is scheduled for one fall, and a 30 minute time limit.
Round 1 |
Rob Van Dam Vs Undertaker
Taker spent the first part or the match reversing RVD's moves, and then
just plowed over Rob with power moves and finally got the submission with a side
leglock.
Winner: The Undertaker

Ric Flair Vs D'Lo Brown
"The Nature Boy" outwrestled D'Lo in under 4 minutes and got the pin
fall with a small package.
Winner: Ric Flair

Chris Jericho Vs Kurt Angle
This match could have gone either way. Jericho kicked out of a pin attempt after
an Angle Slam, and Kurt kicked out of a double Jericho Bomb. With less then 5
minutes left Jericho scored a second Double Powerbomb and the pin over Angle.
Winner: Chris Jericho

The Rock Vs Sting
Sting got the early advantage on The Rock and even got The People's Champion in
the Scorpion Death Drop. That's when Hollywood Hogan came out and immediately
got the Stinger with a power clothesline. They brawled on the outside and Sting
was counted out.
Winner: The Rock

Chris Benoit Vs Triple H
Benoit and Hunter went back and forth for the entire match. HHH even kicked out
of a near pin fall after a Benoit Multiple German Suplex. Benoit did score the
pin fall finally with a Fisherman Suplex.
Winner: Chris Benoit

Abdullah the Butcher Vs Mortis
Extremely violent match. Both wrestlers spent most of the match on the outside
using weapons on each other. Both wrestlers were bloodied within the first 5
minutes of the match. Mortis finally got the pin fall on Abdullah after a
Flatliner.
Winner: Mortis

Steve Austin Vs Big Show
The Big Show got the early advantage on Stone Cold after a giant headbutt. Kept
trying to make Austin submit chokelifts and bearhugs. Austin finally got the
advantage after he bodyslamed the Big Show. Scored a few elbows, and a lot of
clotheslines. The Rock eventually attacked Austin when he was close to going for
the Stunner, and then Kevin Nash came out and Jackknifed Powerbombed Big Show.
Austing and Show eventually got Rock and Nash out of the ring, and they both
went back and forth but Big Show finally got Austin in another bearhug with less
then 2 minutes left and made him submit.

Bret Hart Vs Tajiri
Tajiri spent most of the match using kicks and high flying moves, while Hart
tried using submission holds. Tajiri scored the upset victory when he hit Bret
with a series of kicks to the chest and head.

The Undertaker Vs Ric Flair
Both wrestlers went toe to toe on this one. Taker was easily overpowering Flair,
while The Nature Boy was easily outwrestling Taker. Undertaker would not submit
when he was put in the Figure 4 Leg Lock 3 times!! Finally he got Ric in the
Last Ride and the pin fall.
Winner: The Undertaker

Chris Jericho Vs The Rock
Jericho and The Rock went right after each other. No one really had the
advantage but they soon took the fight outside the ring. Rock was not able to
beat the 20 count back in the ring after he was snap suplexed on the floor.

Chris Benoit Vs Mortis
Benoit and Mortis scored a few impressive moves early on in the match. Mortis
got the Flatliner on Benoit around the 13:00 mark, but Benoit kicked out. Steve
Blackman then appeared ringside and proceeded to beat the living hell out of
Mortis. Mortis was not able to beat the count back into the ring.
Winner: Chris Benoit

The Big Show Vs Tajiri
Big Show dominated the match early on. Tajiri was able to come back with his
speed and kicks. Back and forth a few times with no one really getting close to
a victory. Tajiri finally got Big Show down with a flury of kicks to the body
and one final one to the head, X-Pac came out and attacked Tajiri before he was
able to go for the pin. This gave the Big Show the time he needed to recover and
he then scored a huge chokeslam outside the ring. Tajiri was not able to get up
and make it back before the 20 count.

The Undertaker Vs Chris Jericho
Undertaker went right after Jericho with every move in the book. Jericho was
never able to put up much of an offense. Taker scored the pin fall after a
Chokeslam from Hell.

Chris Benoit Vs The Big Show
This match went back and forth with Benoit working very hard to try and keep Big
Show down. Benoit connected with a flying Benoit Headbutt, but Big Show kicked
out!! Chris Jericho then came out and got Benoit with a Double Jericho Powerbomb.
They continued to fight on the outside while Show stayed in the ring for the
most part. Benoit was locked in the Walls of Jericho when the count hit 20.
Winner: Big Show

The Undertaker Vs The Big Show
The two big men went back and forth for the most part of the match. At one point
Scott Hall attacked the Big Show but ended up being chokeslame outside the ring.
Triple H also attacked Taker and gave him the Pedigree. The match got out of
hand outside the ring when both wrestlers attacked each other with barbed wire
2x4s and steel chairs. Big Show was DQed when he brought the chair in the ring
and leveled Undertaker with it.
