Gerry Dee is a first generation Canadian whose family was all born in Glasgow, Scotland. He spent 9 years as a school teacher before making the full-time switch to stand-up in 2003. Gerry had appeared on The Late Late Show, Comedy Central's “Live at Gotham” as well as season 4 of Last Comic Standing. He starred in the Canadian feature “Trailer Park Boys-The Movie”. He will be making his third appearance at the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival this year. Gerry is a former Collegiate Varsity hockey player and golfer. He is a frequent qualifier at both the US and Canadian Amateur Championships. Gerry and his wife Heather are expecting their first child later this summer. |
